In recent years, King’s Hawaiian has built a vast network of influencers and creators to grow brand awareness in order to make Slider Sunday the new “Taco Tuesday.” The objective of the event was two-fold: to celebrate King’s Hawaiian creator and influencer partners and also to grow awareness and amplify Slider Sunday on social media. It was imperative to this goal to create a beautiful, fun event with delicious food and drinks to celebrate these influencers and creators and curate an event where everyone could come together and celebrate as a community.
We knew that due to King’s Hawaiian’s dedication to their influencer and creator partnerships, they had built incredible relationships and brand loyalty over the years. It was imperative to leverage the audience King’s Hawaiian brand partners had created in order to amplify their Slider Sunday campaign. Their vision was for NVE to create an unforgettable VIP experience to kickoff the Slider Sunday season.
We created an exclusive, invite-only, Slider Sunday Social at the Waterfront in Venice. The venue offered sunset views and a beachy laid back aesthetic that aligned well with King’s Hawaiian brand. We paid homage to King’s Hawaiian creators by taking inspiration from their innovative recipes with a build your own slider station. The event also featured shareable photo moments, raffles, shaved ice, and tropical-inspired cocktails and mocktails such as the lychee Icee.
239 VIP guests helped kick off the Slider Sunday Season with a bang! With a beautiful sunset overlooking the event, guests consumed over 1,400 King’s Hawaiian Buns, 40 shaved ices, and 420 themed drinks. Guests enjoyed creating content in our branded photo experiences and many took to Instagram and TikTok to share the event.
