Disney+ entrusted NVE to create a premiere event fit for the gods, at the iconic Met Museum in New York City. Being the first Disney premiere back from the writer’s strike, it was imperative this premiere was a worthy celebration of the series and all the hard work so many stakeholders have put into it.
This premiere was a huge celebration and opportunity for so many stakeholders to come together to celebrate the series. Our team went above and beyond to make the already stunning venue of the Met, even more beautiful through tying all creative elements back to the show’s strong Greek Mythology roots.
Using the Met’s existing infrastructure which lended perfectly to the show’s aesthetic, NVE created a one-of-a-kind premiere that transported guests into the world of Percy and camp half-blood. From a press wall surrounded by water, to a custom-draped theater with fully rented technical equipment for the screening, to an after party that included a 12-person orchestra, portrait sketch artists, god-themed food stations, motion graphic projections, and stunning florals.
Over 700 guests were welcomed into this premiere fit for the gods. Guests enjoyed lavish greek-inspired bites and cocktails, enchanting musical performances from a live orchestra and DJ, all coming together to celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated series. Live Caricature artists transformed 150 guests into the Greek God of their choosing, and everyone walked away with a beautiful lithograph map giveaway.
