Pinterest at CES

Pinterest

Pinterest transformed Scarpetta into a multifaceted meeting space, inviting marketers to “Stop interrupting. Start inspiring.” The space brought to life Pinterest’s five dimensions of inspiration and positioned the brand as the last positive corner of the internet.

Challenge

Pinterest wanted to showcase the top 100 emerging trends to lookout for in 2020. The goal was to immerse marketers into their 5 dimensions of inspiration and show how brands can weave the P100 into their own marketing plans. Brands need to “stop interrupting and start inspiring” to succeed in today’s ad world and Pinterest is the answer.

Insight

We knew that in order to inspire a room full of marketers, we would have to do something drastic — so we fully transformed Scarpetta restaurant beyond recognition. The 5 dimensions of inspiration were translated into five meeting spaces with full AV capabilities.

Solution

Each of the 5 rooms had its own individual feel. Rooms featured furniture hacks, swing seating, scent-scapes and risograph collage walls. Inspired by the P100, lounges offered self-service bars, 90’s inspired playlists and vintage/recycled decor along with a swag shop. The transformation offered comfortable charging stations to recharge off of the CES floor.

Results

This activation gathered people together for 27 booked meetings over the course of 3 days. The average guest spent 1.5 hours in the space proving that the inviting atmosphere inspired conversation to keep flowing in real life.
