National Geographic Science Fair Premiere

To build on the buzz from its win at the Audience Choice Awards at Sundance and SXSW, Science Fair made its Los Angeles debut with a family-friendly premiere and reception that showcased the documentary’s powerful themes and brilliant cast. NVE utilized UCLA’s Royce Hall as the venue, capitalizing on the university’s longstanding reputation to welcome the film’s creators, talent, and fans of all ages. From the signature yellow carpet to DNA strand installations in the lobby, we carefully crafted an experience that fostered engagement and shareable moments.

Each seat was filled with fans eager to see the film and hear from the producers. Mimicking National Geographic’s curious nature and the film’s science focus, we created a reception that included activity stations, lab-like bites, a branded digital moment, and an education center with partner, Explorer Academy. The premiere exceeded the anticipated guest count, while simultaneously generating positive media mention to drive awareness and additional praise and award.
