NVE and Amazon Prime Video were awarded Gold in Event Marketer’s Experience Design & Technology Awards in the Best Use of RFID category for the experiential program, The Tick Takeover.
The award winning execution –premiered at San Diego’s largest cultural tentpole – integrated gamified technology into a narrative-driven experience. “Citizens” used RFID technology to unlock clues in a 4-room scavenger hunt through movie set level replicas designed after iconic settings from the show. RFID also unlocked custom memorabilia and exclusive access to the Amazon Prime Members Lounge.
